Film Poster: WWW/EBI

WWW: I believe my editing skills alongside my creative skills were clearly outlined in this poster. The use of colour to create a mysterious yet intriguing atmosphere was well executed. I used dark colours which would be deemed as conventions of physiological thrillers meaning that audiences would be able to relate to the poster and lure them to watch the film. Also, the main image of the actor was a good mid-shot that allowed the audience to see her facial expressions and body language which could give insight into the actual film. The bold and visible slogan which stretches across the poster was intentionally done so that people knew the concept before the film meaning that they will be intrigued on the concept before knowing the film name. Also, my placements of studio logo, age rating, production logo and website was also included on my poster. These conventions add to the realism of my poster and give it a professional look.

EBI: It would have potentially been better if I used a clearer picture of the model because I had to initially edit it beforehand to make it sharper. Also, if I added reviews surrounding the poster that would have also made the poster seem more interesting and pull more people in to watch the film. Also, I could have made the actors names much vivid and easier to read so that audiences know who will be featured in the film before going to watch it.
